What comes first? The chicken or the egg? The very first thing you should do is talk to a mortgage professional to see how much home you qualify and determine what you want to spend. Your favorite realtor can give you a referral to lenders they work with and know to be reputable.

Yes! Using an agent to purchase a home is usually no cost to the buyer. You want an experienced professional advocating for you, and guiding you through the process. When selling a home an experienced agent will know how to best market your property and bring you top dollar.

From start to finish the home buying process can take as little as 30 days with a quick close and a great lender. You can plan for a week or two to find your dream home, then 30 days from contract to close is the average.

Schools are an important part of buying a home even if you don't have children as schools can affect neighborhoods and home values. While school choice is very personal to each family I can give you a list of websites to help you do your best research for your family.
